Day 12: A very productive day!

Today was an awesome day! Went to hot yoga with Jenni and Buckles, the to eat. Spent a lot of time with Jenni, just talking and catching up! I'm so proud of her, doing yoga everyday! Then I went to coffee with Nicole which was awesome! Then to sing with the Full Voice kids, and the people seemed to enjoy it! haha! Then ran of to work, and did really well! So here is today!

Practice Log:

Technical Concepts: Worked on my vowels while doing scales. I also worked on the "ee" to "ah" warm up on scales and worked on keeping my placement forward.

Minutes: 10

Repertoire: "Old Devil Moon" from Finian's Rainbow, and "I Cannot Hear the City"

Success: I feel like i am "breathing from below my belly button" and singing more full. I also feel more aware of my forward placement and it helps me hit notes with ease.

Areas of Improvement: Still need to work on he placement of course, but making progress!

Notes: I'm very happy with my voice!

Difficulty level: All

Studio/ Instructor: Blissful Spirits Hot Yoga with Rebecca

What I most Enjoyed: Pretty much all of it! I was able to do the entire exercise with no breaks! And I loved the teacher!

What I found Challenging: The balancing!

Observations: So fun doing this with Buckles and Jenni! Will go back!

Charitable Deed #1

Today, a few of us Full Voice kids went to sing at the Albuquerque Grand Living Home! It was really fun! I tagged on last minute and sang "Old Devil Moon" and the solo in "Seasons of Love." It was a lot of fun! I did forget my lyrics a bit, but audiences are forgiving! They seemed to enjoy it and I had a lot of fun doing it! Hopefully a video to follow soon! For now, here's a pic!
