Day 4: In the Heights, SOHO, eating and practice!

Just saw In the Heights! Great show! It was awesome to see Lin Manuel Miranda in it! He's very passionate and it shows in his work.

I also went to SOHO To find my aunt a scarf at the Kardashian store there. Family is funny.

So practice stuff:

Technical Concepts: warming up falsetto again. Practiced "safe singing" by using a supported full voice but not a constant belt.

Minutes: 10

Repertoire: "The Proposal" from Titanic and "I Want to Go to Hollywood."

Minutes: 20

Success: The proposal is something I've performed before, but I decided to review it. It is good for my range and has softer and louder points in it to bring out a more full sound. Hollywood us coming a long. I'm looking forward to working on it further.

Areas for improvement: Need to bring more depth to Hollywood. I seem to be singing in one dynamic and need to okay with those more.

Notes: look at dynamics given by the composer.
